KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City firefighter involved in a crash that killed three people in Westport could be getting his job back, including the ability to drive a firetruck, following an arbitration award filed in August.
The December 2021 crash involving Dominic Biscari killed 41-year-old Jennifer San Nicolas, and 25-year-old Michael J. Elwood, who were both in an SUV when it collided with the firetruck. A pedestrian, 41-year-old Tami N. Knight, was also killed in the crash.
Video showed Biscari with lights and sirens speed through a red light after being taken off a call colliding with a car in the intersection, several parked cars and a pedestrian before slamming into a building causing its collapse.
Biscari pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree involuntary manslaughter
