49ers injury updates: There’s a chance Brock Purdy could serve as the No. 2 QB in Week 3

The San Francisco 49ers’ first injury report is out ahead of their Week 3 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Here’s who is not practicing on Wednesday:

Kyle Shanahan said Purdy is progressing positively, as he wasn’t limited last week, saying, “He does have a chance” to play on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Shanahan also said there’s a chance Purdy could be the emergency backup quarterback on Sunday.
