GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenville County NAACP is expressing concern over an interest meeting that was held at a Greenville County high school.
The Greenville NAACP sent a statement addressed to the superintendent of Greenville County Schools saying that Turning Point USA (TPUSA), an organization founded by Charlie Kirk, held an interest meeting at J.L. Mann High School during school hours.
The NAACP chapter expressed concern over the nature of TPUSA, saying that it is a “political advocacy organization known for promoting conservative political ideology, often aligned with MAGA rhetoric.”
According to the statement, NAACP officials are asking the district to investigate the situation.
