WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- The Kansas Humane Society has sent out a plea for puppy formula and cat treats.
"We‘re quickly running through our formula supply, and there’s an endless stream of new puppies headed to foster care," says the Kansas Humane Society in a post to Facebook. "Snacks like these are more than just tasty treats; they help reduce any stress or boredom that animals may feel while waiting to be adopted. Without snacks, the shelter becomes a much more stressful place! Unfortunately, we’re running low on treats for our shelter kitties."
The organization says the cats and kittens all seem to prefer Fancy Feast. They also accept any new cat or dog toys.
