SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Happy Wednesday, Utah! High pressure settles in from the north today bringing sunshine and pleasant temperatures for northern portions of the state. Highs will only be in the 70s for most of north and central Utah Wednesday. Meanwhile, southern Utah will be baking underneath the sunshine and much warmer temperatures. Highs in Lower Washington county will be in the mid to upper 90s.

A disturbance centered well to our east will bring a few isolated downpours across portions of far northeastern Utah. Any rain chance will mainly be confined to portions of the higher elevations to the east Wednesday afternoon.
