Now, a metal singer has weighed in on the topic, explaining what he believes to be the key difference between AI-generated and man-made music.
Blabbermouth.net reports that Tomi Joutsen — the vocalist for Helsinki, Finland-hailing progressive group Amorphis — gave a rather nuanced take on AI during a recent interview with Jovan Ristić of Altnote .
“Well, to be honest, I don’t know how much machines can do already,” said Joutsen, as transcribed by Blabbermouth.net. “It’s difficult, because, of course, everyone would like to hear bands using real amplifiers, real guitars, real drums, real instruments, but now
