Police have arrested a man after raiding a vape shop in Norwalk — which has had its license to sell vape products suspended after similar prior investigations — and allegedly finding THC products.

The raid was carried out Tuesday at R&R Convenience and Smoke at 213 Main St., according to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police Department .

The search was conducted by the police department’s Special Services Division and reportedly turned up about 1.5 pounds of cannabis products including pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, containers and bags filled with marijuana and THC edibles, Podgorski said.

“A majority of these items were located inside a trap door hidden within the store,” Podgorski said in a statement.
