HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department says it has issued arrest warrants for a man for a fatal shooting on Binford Drive on Tuesday.

HPD said it has obtained murder and first-degree assault warrants for Tyshaun Dominique Darnell Hampton, 23, of Huntsville, related to the shooting.

The department said officers responded to a call on Binford Drive around 10 a.m. Tuesday for a shooting in progress. Police said when they arrived, officers found two men with gunshot wounds.

HPD said the first victim, Caleb Troy Martin, 25, of Decatur, was pronounced dead on the scene, while a second victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
