Two of three Helena residents received deferred and suspended sentences in Lewis and Clark County District Court on felony child endangerment charges.
Shanley Kiernan Doherty, who was 31 at the time she was charged, was given four years deferred for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and endangering the welfare of children.
Wayne Russell Spencer, who was 66 when charged, received three years all suspended to the Department of Corrections for felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs and endangering the welfare of children.
Spencer was originally charged in March with felony endangering the welfare of children, felony tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and misdemeanor criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Doherty was also charged in March with two felony
