SALT LAKE CITY — A motorcycle crash has closed three lanes on Interstate 15 at 6000 S. near Murray on Wednesday morning, according to a tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation.
Utah Highway Patrol Lieutenant Cameron Roden confirmed that a motorcycle was spotted driving recklessly earlier in the day, and that the rider of that bike lost control and “laid the bike down.”
Roden also reported that no other vehicles were involved, and the motorcycle’s rider is being transported in serious condition.
All lanes of I-15 should be open by 11:45 a.m., according to Roden.
