LONG ISLAND, N.Y. – A Spirit Airlines pilot faced criticism from air traffic control after failing to promptly respond during a flight parallel to Air Force One.

The incident occurred on Tuesday as the aircrafts flew over Long Island. Air Force One was transporting President Donald Trump to the UK.

According to audio captured by Live ATC.net , the air traffic controller repeatedly urged the Spirit Airlines pilot to pay attention.
