Netflix 's newest elite cooking competition series, titled "Next Gen Chef," was filmed entirely in Dutchess County.

The first seven episodes aired on Sept. 17, but Netflix is holding the release of the season finale for a bit longer.

Timothy Ryan , Culinary Institute of America chancellor who served as executive producer and co-creator of "Next Gen Chef," said in an email statement he expects the show to significantly boost how many people in the world know about the school and its slice of Hyde Park.
