CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Police are searching for another suspect after three arrests were made in connection with two shootings that occurred in Newport in late August , according to the Newport Police Department.

Michael Swartz, 19, is wanted for attempted murder relating to the shooting on Aug. 23 and is considered armed and dangerous, NPD said.

The charges stem from a shooting at the intersection of Ann Street and 11th Street, where police said a man was shot in the arm and taken to UC Medical Center for treatment.

The shooting was the second in Newport in less than 24 hours, which left many residents concerned about their safety.
