ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Three people have been formally charged in connection to an August robbery and gun possession investigation, according to the Albany County District Attorney's Office. 19-year-old Amazjee Glass, 31-year-old Nahshon Joseph and 29-year-old Ashley Latimer, all of Albany, were arraigned on a six-count, grand jury indictment on Wednesday.
Authorities allege that, on August 12, Glass, Joseph and 37-year-old Nathan Fields had approached a 68-year-old man on Clinton Avenue, threw him to the ground and repeatedly punched him before running off with the victim's gold jewelry. The 68-year-old had reportedly suffered injuries to his hand, head and neck.
