With Joe Burrow out of the Cincinnati Bengals’ lineup for the foreseeable future, Jake Browning’s time as the starter has arrived, beginning on Sunday.

Browning will take the field as QB1 for the Bengals against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Sunday afternoon. Advertisement

Browning, 29, stepped in at quarterback for Cincinnati last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, completing 21 of 32 passes with two touchdowns and three interceptions after Burrow went down with a toe injury.

The former University of Washington standout has gotten snaps with the Bengals for three seasons, beginning in 2023, when he started seven games in place of Burrow after he suffered a wrist injury.
