BOX BUTTE COUNTY, Neb. (KOLN) — An Alliance woman accused in the murder of 32-year-old Ebram Sifuentes has been formally charged in Sheridan County Court.

Tamara Bingham, 26, faces charges of first-degree murder, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and improper disposal of human skeletal remains. A judge ordered she be held without bond. Bingham is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at 9 a.m.

On Sept. 9, the Nebraska State Patrol asked for the public’s help in locating Sifuentes , who had been reported missing from Alliance on Aug. 27.

Two days later, authorities discovered human remains in rural Box Butte County. Investigators say they are confident the remains belong to Sifuentes , though additional testing is underway to confirm.
