“I use clothes as armor, because how I dress is how I feel,” Helsa founder Elsa Hosk tells The Cut. “My style really shows the world who I am as a person.” Despite living in L.A., the Swedish model has yet to adjust to the weather and still has a closet full of coats , jackets, and pieces she can layer.

She does most of her shopping online, with deep dives into auction sites and Etsy. “I’ll find anything online. If I have a vintage piece in mind, I’ll scour the whole internet for it,” she says. “I love the hunt.”
