BOSSIER CITY, La. -- The Bossier Parish Coroner's Office has identified the woman killed Sunday in a murder-suicide that also left two Bossier City police officers injured.

The victim is Manissa Tranell Howard, 44, of Bossier City.

Bossier City police said Howard was killed by her husband, who then turned the gun on himself. She died at the scene; he was taken to the hospital, but he's also died. His information was not available Wednesday from the coroner's office.

Meanwhile, the two officers, Tre Morris and Garyn Simons, have been released from the hospital following their treatment of gunshot wounds. Both were shot while trying to make entry into the couple's apartment at the Villaggio on Venicia Drive in Bossier City.
