WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Lots of folks went to The Big E to have fun and celebrate The State of Connecticut on Wednesday.

Multiple local bands, Restaurants like Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria, vendors, and other businesses are being featured here today for guests to enjoy. With lots of people coming out today means there could be lots of traffic on the roads.

Western Mass News spoke with fair goer Joe Fredrick. He tells us he got to The Big E around 11 a.m. this morning and waited in about 30 minutes of traffic. He shares this advice for anyone headed to the fair in the coming days, “Just plan ahead of time expect that you’re going to hit traffic.”
