Camp Rock is returning to the big screen for a third movie, nearly two decades after the first film aired on Disney Channel.

After whispers surfaced in summer 2025 that the hit franchise may be making a comeback, Joe Jonas accidentally confirmed another movie was in the works during an August 2025 appearance on Hot Ones alongside his brothers and bandmates Nick and Kevin Jonas. Joe was asked to read his last iPhone Notes app entry, which gave away the news.

“Read Camp Rock 3,” Joe said out loud while Nick looked shocked at the camera and Kevin laughed nervously.

After realizing what he had done, Joe added, “Sorry, Disney.”

One month later, Disney announced that Camp Rock 3 was greenlit and that the Jonas Brothers would be reprising their roles as the Gray brothers in the band Connect 3
