MYRTLE BEACH — The Pogues plan to be back at the Socastee Swing Bridge later this month.

Netflix's hit series "Outer Banks" is scheduled to return to the Grand Strand for filming Sept. 27, S.C. Department of Transportation spokeswoman Kelly Moore confirmed. Stormy weather shut down the initial shoot on July 29 and another round of inclement weather canceled rescheduled filming on Aug. 14.

The third attempt will require the 90-year-old bridge to be closed from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Moore said. The crew picked a Saturday to avoid shutting down the bridge during a school day.

A section of Dick Pond Road between Waterway Lane and Peachtree Road will also be blocked off.
