FOXBOROUGH – It was just a small glimpse at Patriots practice, but it was hard not to notice Christian Gonzalez .

Wearing the Patriots all-white retro helmet, with the Pat Patriot logo on the side, the cornerback had a gold visor attached to the facemask. At the start of Wednesday’s practice, Gonzalez worked alongside Carlton Davis.

The two cornerbacks warmed up on the jugs machine before joining other defensive backs during position drills. The media was only out at practice for a short while, but Gonzalez’s mere presence on that field had teammates excited.
