(KRON) -- A boy who allegedly fired a gun during a fight in Fairfield High School's parking lot turned himself in to police on Wednesday.
"A juvenile suspect was identified as the shooter and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The suspect turned himself to Fairfield Police Officers with the assistance of family members at approximately 9:00 a.m. this morning," the Fairfield Police Department wrote.
Investigators did not say if the suspected shooter is a Fairfield High School student.
Police said the fight broke out around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday after classes ended for the day.
At least one gunshot was fired at a vehicle with people inside related to the fight, police said. No one was struck by gunfire.
