Police Wednesday looked for a burglary suspect who broke into a home in Hollywood Hills and made away with half a million dollars in jewelry.
The Los Angeles Police Department told NBC4 Investigates that the daytime burglary happened just after 3 p.m. as a female resident came home to find out her house was ransacked.

The woman told police that when she went into the bedroom, she found that all her jewelry was missing.
The thieves appeared to have broken in through a window and took off before the resident came home, police said.
No one was arrested as of Wednesday.
The female victim was not injured.
