Life on the streets of California can be incredibly harsh for stray dogs. With little human help, they are forced to scavenge daily just to survive.

These two sweet pups were in exactly that situation. Their entire world revolved around a van, which served as their only shelter whenever they weren’t searching for scraps of food.

Thankfully, luck was finally on their side when a group of dedicated rescuers spotted them and decided to give them the fresh start they desperately needed.
