After making the playoffs for the first time in eight years last spring, they had a bounce in their step as they arrived at the Canadian Tire Centre for the first day of training camp on Wednesday, but they know the road ahead will be long and difficult. Article content Article content
After being poked, prodded and tested, the Senators will hit the ice for the first time on Thursday to begin preparations for the season opener against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Oct. 9 on the road.
