Southern California residents planning to travel abroad this holiday season can apply for a passport in person, USPS officials announced Wednesday.

The Atwood Post Office, located at 1679 E. Orangethorpe Ave. in Atwood, will be hosting a passport fair on Sept. 30.

Customers attending the fair will have the opportunity to complete passport services, including photo processing, on a first-come, first-served basis during the fair hours, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Appointments can be booked here.

To apply for a passport, customers must present documents that prove their identity and U.S. citizenship.
