The Ferris wheel that made its debut last year will return for Oktoberfest Pittsburgh on Oct. 2-12, presented by Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership and Flyspace Productions.
In its second year, the festival has moved from Market Square to Fort Duquesne Boulevard and the Roberto Clemente (6th Street) Bridge.
The 60-foot big wheel will offer festival-goers commanding views of the city for approximately 10 minutes, at $7 per ticket.
“We’re thankful to Allegheny County for approving the return of the Ferris wheel on the Roberto Clemente Bridge as this truly captures what makes Oktoberfest Pittsburgh so special,” said Jeremy Waldrup, president and CEO of the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, in a statement.
