WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Postal Service has announced its recommended mailing and shipping deadlines for the 2025 holiday season, urging customers to send packages early to ensure delivery by Christmas Day.

For mail and packages sent within the U.S., the suggested send-by dates are:

For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories, the Ground Advantage deadline is one day earlier: Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Customers mailing to military or international addresses should check the USPS holiday shipping page for specific deadlines.
