Disney’s ABC said “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” “will be pre-empted indefinitely,” a spokesperson confirmed to NBC News, after the late night host’s Monday monologue about conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Kirk, co-founder of Turning Point USA, was giving a presentation at Utah Valley University when he was fatally shot last week.

During his monologue Monday, Kimmel raised the possibility that the alleged assassin Tyler Robinson might have been a pro-Trump Republican.

“The MAGA Gang (is) desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.
