Richmond RCMP is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect who allegedly committed an act of public indecency at a local restaurant.

On July 5 shortly before 3 a.m., police responded to a report of a man who allegedly exposed themselves to the victim at a business in the 4700 block of McClelland Road, according to a Sept. 17 news release from Richmond RCMP.

The victim described the man to have entered the business to use the bathroom and then left as normal. Shortly after, the man claimed to have forgotten his phone in the bathroom and upon second exit, he allegedly stood in front of the counter of the restaurant and exposed himself to the victim.

The man left as soon as the victim told him they were going to call police, says the release.

The man is described to be white, 25
