BOISE, Idaho — The Blaine County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing hiker who was last known to be in the Prairie Creek area.

Heather Wayment has been reported missing, and authorities are seeking information from anyone who may have been hiking in the Prairie Creek area on Sept. 16-17.

The sheriff's office has not released details about when Wayment was last seen.

Anyone who may have seen Wayment or has relevant information is asked to contact the Blaine County Sheriff's Office at (208) 788-5555.
