BOSTON (WWLP) - The Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators is celebrating its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of advocating for women's economic status and equality in the state.

The caucus, a bipartisan and bicameral group, focuses on enhancing the economic status and equality of women and supporting women in government. Each legislative session, the caucus highlights five bills that reflect their core values. This year, they are advocating for living wages for human service workers, increased access to period products, improved treatment for pancreatic cancer, the creation of a perinatal healthcare workforce trust fund, and updating gender-neutral language in election laws.
