MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Attention all cat lovers! Construction has begun on the Mid-South's first cat cafe.

Fancy Cat Cafe is set to open its doors in the 5000 block of Getwell in Southaven, Miss., at the end of November.

On its website, Fancy Cat Cafe is described as a cozy, relaxing space where visitors can enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks while spending time with adoptable cats.

"We provide a calm environment for cat lovers to interact with friendly felines, offering an escape from the everyday hustle," said Fancy Cate Cafe.

The business will have a small cafe side with about eight seats and a larger area where customers can interact with cats up for adoption.
