BANGOR -- The Camden Hills Windjammers field hockey team made the trip to Bangor to face the Rams on Wednesday afternoon.
In the first quarter, the Windjammers controlled the time of possession. Sophomore Carly Fitzpatrick took a shot towards the goal but it was denied by Rams goalkeeper Kya Smith to keep the game scoreless going into the second.
But a few minutes into the second quarter, a Windjammers shot turns into an even better pass as it finds Brooklyn Rollins right in front of the net for the easy tap in, and Camden took a 1-0 lead.
On their next possession, the Windjammers earned a penalty corner opportunity and made quick work of capitalizing on it, as Fitzpatrick once again set up her teammate, this time having her shot tapped in by Alanna Smith to give Camden a two goal lea
