The Seattle Seahawks signed wide receiver Cody White from the practice squad as a part of small roster shuffle Wednesday.

With White joining the 53-man roster, the Seahawks waived veteran cornerback Shaquill Griffin and re-signed him to the practice squad.

The move comes after the Seahawks signed Griffin off the practice squad and released White before re-signing the wide receiver to the practice squad last week.

The roster shuffle could be a good sign of things to come for Seattle’s cornerback room. Griffin joined the 53-man roster last week while star corner Devon Witherspoon dealt with a knee injury that kept him out practice and ultimately Sunday’s win over the Steelers.
