WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Interim Superintendent Catty Moore says no additional staffing cuts are planned for this school year, even as Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools faces a $37 million budget deficit from the 2024-25 school year.
“I can tell you I’m done for right now, but I don’t think you can say until we get to the other side of a budget resolution that, that we know where we are for the entire school year, and so it is a priority to get that budget resolution done,” she said.
She added there will be cuts in other areas to help balance the budget.
