DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Burlington man was sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for drug and gun charges on Tuesday.
Chad Runnells, 49, sold and got methamphetamine during several controlled purchases to law enforcement, according to public court documents.
Last year, officers searched Runnells’ home and stash house and found:
3.5 pounds of methamphetamine
A loaded firearm
Over $10,000
Investigators learned Runnells was responsible for distributing more than 65 pounds of methamphetamine.
He was also not allowed to have firearms, officials said.
After finishing his prison sentence, Runnells will have to serve a five-year term of supervised release.
