It’s hard to imagine Garrett Crochet having a better debut season with the Red Sox.
Acquired from the White Sox last offseason after a breakout 2024 (3.58 ERA and 209 strikeouts in 146 innings), Crochet has dazzled for a Red Sox team that is looking to clinch its first postseason berth since 2021. Crochet signed a six-year, $170 million extension with the Red Sox on April 1 and has put together a Cy Young Award-caliber season, posting a 2.63 ERA with an MLB-leading 240 strikeouts in 30 starts.
