LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A lake-front property in rural Lancaster County, near Crete, could be the future home of Still Waters Recovery Sanctuary, a treatment center for substance abuse disorders.
The Lincoln-Lancaster County Planning Commission approved the re-zoning of the property unanimously Wednesday afternoon.
Still Waters would renovate an already existing home and build four residential buildings to house 44 patients going through treatment.
Through this, Still Waters would provide withdrawal services, medically assisted treatment, counseling, group and family therapy and more. Most patients would stay for 28 days, and it would be a voluntary program.
