FAULKNER COUNTY, Ark. - A quiet stretch of Highway 64 turned into a crime scene late Monday night after at least three businesses were broken into within the span of an hour.
Investigators with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office say they are working to determine if one suspect is responsible for the string of break-ins.
According to authorities, the burglaries happened between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. along Highway 64. While no arrests have been made, law enforcement believes the incidents may be connected.
The first break-in happened at the Shade Tree Flea Market around 10:30 p.m. The owner has not disclosed how the suspect entered or what was taken.
Roughly an hour later — and just down the road — the 64 Country Store was hit.
