Spencer Hatcher is getting back to business.

Six weeks after his mother, Holly Hatcher , was killed in her Virginia home by an armed intruder, the country singer shared a message to his fans about the tragedy.

“I just want to take a moment to say thank you to you all for all the love and support that you all have shown me and my family over the last month,” he said in a video posted on his YouTube channel Sept. 9. “You all sent so many loving comments and messages and made posts, and we did our best to read them. But I just want you all to know how appreciative we are, and I am of you all.”
