HAZEN, Ark. — Arkansas State Police (ASP) is currently searching for two suspects who ran off following a vehicle pursuit on I-40 near Hazen.

According to reports, at about 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday morning, ASP troopers tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. However, the vehicle drove off at about 100 miles per hour while making "reckless lane changes."

Officials say that the driver, identified as 24-year-old Brevin Tre Harvey of Saltillo, Mississippi, and a passenger, identified as 30-year-old Marice Quencha Sykes of Tupelo, Mississippi, both ran off into a wooded area.

Another passenger, identified as 33-year-old Kyle Anthony Easley of Shannon, Mississippi, was arrested while at the scene and has been taken into the Prairie County Detention Center.
