As injuries continue to pile up for the 49ers , the team made a series of roster moves ahead of their home opener on Sunday.

Offensive lineman Ben Bartch officially was placed on the injured reserve list Wednesday. Coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters earlier this week that the starting left guard will be "out for a while" with a high-ankle sprain he sustained early in San Francisco's Week 2 win over the New Orleans Saints before exiting the game and being ruled out.

Per NBC Sports Bay Area's 49ers insider Matt Maiocco, Bartch will miss 4 to 6 weeks.

That isn't the only injury concern on the O-line, as Spencer Burford injured his knee in Sunday's win and is listed as day-to-day ahead of the team's Week 3 divisional showdown against the Arizona Cardinals.
