ST. PAUL — Hamline received goals from four different players in a 4-1 win over Concordia in their MIAC soccer opener Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The lone Concordia goal was credited as an own goal after a pass to Pipers keeper Alec Setterberg by his own player avoided him for the match's first tally.
Chris Palma, Beniam Makonnen (on a penalty kick), Taylor Alexander and Johanso Camacho scored for Hamline.
Cobbers keeper Jack Solheid stopped five shots. Alec Setterberg had five as well in net for Hamline.
The loss drops the Cobbers' overall record to 0-4-3 on the season.
