A Sanford man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a June shooting that killed another man, Sanford police said.
Jocquise Lavarsea Jarrells, 24, was charged with first-degree premeditated homicide in the death of Christopher Lamar Houston, 23, according to police.
Sanford police responded to HCA Lake Monroe just before 6:30 p.m. on June 8, after Houston arrived at the hospital with apparent gunshot wounds, SPD said.
