SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah State volleyball team pushed its record past .500 for the first time this season with a straight sets win over Paine College on Sept. 17 at Tiger Arena.
The Lady Tigers won in relative ease, 25-14, 25-12, 25-17. This is the second time Savannah State defeated Paine College this year. The first time was also a straight sets victory on Sept. 9 in Augusta.
Savannah State will continue non-conference play on Sept. 23. The Lady Tigers travel to Mount Vernon for a date with Brewton-Parker Chrisitan at 6 p.m.
