Nighttime rolling closures starting on I-90 near Beckman Road Bridge

(WJET/WFXP)-- PennDOT is reminding drivers in the area there will be rolling closures on Interstate 90 on Wednesday and Thursday night as work continues on the Beckman Road Bridge.

Those rolling closures will start each night at 8 pm and end at 6 am between Exit 16 (Route 98, Franklin Center, Fairview) and Exit 9 (Route 18, Girard, Platea) in both directions.

The need for these repairs stems from an incident in February of 2025 when a large vehicle struck the bridge, causing sufficient damage to several beams.

Renovation costs total about $391,409, which will be paid entirely with state funds.
