CORVALLIS, Ore. - Oregon State Football is looking from within as the team prepares for the 129th in-state rivalry game against Oregon. The Beavers have struggled in recent games, starting the season with a 0-3 record, with both the offense and defense falling short of expectations.

Throughout media availability during the week several players and coaches acknowledge the on-going issues and say they are focusing on translating their hard work in practice into live gameplay.

"It's frustrating knowing that shooting ourselves in the foot and how we get back to it again is just what we do every day in practice," Oregon State Center Van Wells said. "I mean, we work hard in practice that nobody sees, we work technique every single day. So it's about taking it from practice to the game."
