OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska’s statewide primary election is Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

If you register by mail, the deadline is Friday, April 24. In-person registration is on Friday, May 1.

We are more than half a year away from the voter registration deadline, but people across Nebraska are already getting offers from an out-of-state source to register for next year’s election.
